About Gates
Designed, manufactured and supported in-house
Based in Poway, California, Gates produces professional underwater imaging systems engineered for demanding marine environments.
Housings are constructed from Type III hard-anodized aluminum alloy and corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel. Gates combines proven engineering and proprietary know-how with modern camera and manufacturing technology.
In-house CNC milling machines and 3D printers produce precision components, which are assembled by an experienced team with quality controls throughout the manufacturing process.
For customers whose image acquisition and delivery are mission-critical, Gates is often considered part of the production team.
